Monoreach in Khmer, from which the hotel' s name was derived, means the mind of the country ruler, the King, and his compassion to his land and people. This has been the legendary expression of the famous King Jayavarman VII who has brought prominence the grandeur of the Khmer Empire during his time, hence, at Monoreach Angkor Hotel, we think and treat our guests with much care, comfort and hospitality.

Stayed in Apr 05. Good clean hotel with very sweet staff. A few of them are not strong with English but you get by with no problem.A couple of shops inside (nice silk bags ladies).

Rooms decent enough size, clean, pleasant neutral decor and nice air con (a blessing in the humid heat we experienced in April).

They have traditional wooden seating in the bar area. Looks great but you may get a numb behind after a while unless you get a few beers down you! Prices at the bar good.

Plenty of good (reliable) cheap tuk-tuk drivers outside.
Highly recommend you try a meal at the nearby Madame Butterlfy (Thai food).
Just one thing to watch. This is not exclusive to this hotel but you will find Cambodians are fascinated by overweight people (because you don't see overweight Cambodians). They don't mean to upset you and I think they don't realise it might upset you. Grin and bear it as best you can!

Swimming Pool
 - The swimming pool is open from 6:00 A.M. till 10:00 P.M. This caters exclusively to in-house guests. Guests can enjoy a cool dip on the pool surrounded by a well-maintained tropical garden the sight of which provides everyone a refreshing and relaxing day.

Business Center
At one corner of the lobby lounge is the Business Center. The guests can enjoy being connected to the internet, or avail of other related secretarial services like photocopying, sending fax messages, etc.

Tour Package Desk,  and Transport Counter and Massage Services are available as well at the Business Center section.

Souvenir Shop
 - The Souvenir, Jewelry & Boutique Shops -- Monoreach Angkor Hotel provide the guests a collection of gift items to bring home to their loved ones. There are sets of gold and silver jewelry, colored stones and gems and a lot of accessories for both men and women, young and old. Both likewise have some indigenous Khmer artifacts and handicrafts- those wood and stone carvings, the famous Cambodian silk and scarves to bring home as souvenirs!

Restaurant
The location of the Monoreach Restaurant, Monoreach Angkor Hotel on the first level gives the guests on one side the cool poolside and garden view and on the other side the highway view of Siem Reap. Whether it is a Buffet or A La Carte, the restaurant offers a wide variety of International  Cuisine including a rich selection of Khmer, Chinese and Thai dishes.

Le Monoreach Bar
 - This bar by the lounge offers an array of cocktails, fresh juices, wine and spirits. Coffee to the guests' liking with distinct aromatic smell and flavor is served as well. Guests can take a break here and enjoy playing billiards to keep them by.

The Poolside and Garden Bar
 - For the guests' outdoor fun and enjoyment, the hotel has this Poolside and Garden Bar. This complements the  Le Monoreach Bar. In addition to the array of drinks it caters, it has also delectable menus guests can order from to accompany their drinks while relaxing alone or with friends. A background of soft stereo music completes the ambience of coziness in the lush and colored lighted garden!
 - On special occasions, the poolside garden can be a huge open-air theater for Apsara Shows, Karaoke, dance floor or a Gala Party venue for 200 guests.
