Day 1: Beijing (Meals: None) Pick you up from the airport and transfer to the Hotel
Day 2: Beijing (Meals: B, L, D) Visit the Temple of Heaven early in the morning, as it is the most peaceful time of the day and the best way to enjoy your visit. After a leisurely stop to shop for local pearls, jewelry and crafts
Then, visit Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square and overview the communist influences. You’ll tour the grounds and discover the halls and monuments. From there, you will walk to the Forbidden City, also known as the ImperialPalaceMuseum. With over 180 acres and a collection of great halls, you will see antiques and treasures representing all of China’s history.
Day 3: Beijing (Meals: B, L, D) In the morning, visit the Olympic stadiums (“Bird’s nest” and “Water cube”) from outside. And go to visit and climb the Great Wall and discover the Ming Tombs
Day 4: Beijing - Shanghai (Meals: B, L) Transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai. In the afternoon, relax in Xintiandi, a complex that combines history, culture, tourism, food and beverage, business, entertainment and residences. In the afternoon go to the Children's Palace, Visitors are welcome to watch classes, rehearsals or performances, depending on the day’s timetable. On a rare clear day you can see to the mouth of the Yangtze, but even in normal conditions there are great views of Shanghai's dramatic cityscape.
Day 6: Shanghai - Beijing (Meals: B, L) In the morning, visit the JadeBuddhaTemple, one of the main touristic highlights in Shanghai and one of Shanghai’s few active Buddhist monasteries still remaining. Then, tour the Yuyuan Garden, a classical, peaceful and comfortable garden in the heart of bustling Shanghai.
In the afternoon transfer to the airport and fly to Beijing
