DAY 1: BANGKOK ARRIVAL
Transfer on own by taxi airport to hotel (about 45 min) (It cost about @ Baht 400.- / way by Taxi meter plus express way plus parking fee). O/N in Bangkok

DAY 2: BANGKOK - FLOATING MARKET - CROCODILE FARM - ROSE GARDEN CULTURE PARK (Meals: B) – JOIN TOUR
At 0620 am pick up and transfer to Floating Market for sightseeing. After visiting the Floating Market we travel by coach to the Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo for the live Crocodile Show. Two handlers were in the enclosure with 3 or four large crocs, there was little movement from each croc until the handler prodded and touched them. At first they did tricks like putting their arm into the open mouth and leaving it there for 5 seconds. Then, the Grandest of Tricks was performed. The handler eased up to a huge croc with open jaws and eased his head between the jaws for 10 to 15 seconds, his head was really between the jaws as my photo shows. Later, transfer to Rose Garden and buffet lunch before end of the tour with Thai Incredible Cultural Shows.  O/N in Bangkok

DAY 3: BANGKOK -CITY TEMPLE & GRAND PALACE (Meals: B) – JOIN TOUR
The tour takes you through some of the most interesting parts of Bangkok, including stops at the Temple of the  Reclining Buddha (Wat Pho), famous as the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok; the Temple of the Golden Buddha (Wat Trimit), the home of a 5.5 ton Buddha image, found when the port of Bangkok was being expanded and dating back more than 200 years.Visit to the Grand Palace, Coronation Hall and the holiest of all Thai Temples “The Emerald Buddha Temple” (Wat Phra Kaew) where the replica of Angkor Wat and the late Ayutthaya-style murals on the surrounding walls illustrate scenes from the Ramayana are included in the temple’s compound.

DAY 4: BANGKOK - AYUTTHAYA (RETURN BY CRUISE) (Meals: B) – JOIN TOUR
By air-conditioned car/van/coach to Ayutthaya. Visit Bang-Pa-In, once was the summer palace of the late King Rama V – this has some exquisite art works and the temples.  Return on the comfortable Motor cruiser down stream to Bangkok, enjoy the sights of the rural Thailand. Buffet lunch served onboard (excluded all beverages). Evening, arrive in Bangkok and transfer from pier to hotel. O/N in Bangkok
 
DAY 5: BANGKOK - CHIANG MAI (BY NIGHT TRAIN) 2ND CLASS WITH A/C (B)
Breakfast at the hotel, explore the local area on own before check out and transfer to the Bangkok Railway Station for night train to Chiang Mai. (Depart at 18.00 hr)

DAY 6: UPON ARRIVAL CHIANG MAI (Meals: B)
Upon arrival, hire a skylap to the city center (Cost @ Baht 50-100.- / way depended on the distance) then observe the local people in the morning until the time transfer to the hotel. At 13.00 half day tour to Doi Suthep Temple one of the most highlight of Chiang Mai city. After that, return to the hotel in the afternoon and free at leisure until 6 pm. You will be picked up and transferred to the local restaurant for Khantoke Dinner (Original welcome dinner of Northern Thailand with Hill tribe show). After the show, return to the hotel and free on own. O/N in Chiang Mai
 
DAY 7: CHIANG MAI ELEPHANT SAFARI (Meals: B) – JOIN TOUR
Visit the Elephant Camp at Mae Taman Camp, to see the 'Elephants at Work' show.  You have a chance to ride the elephants crossing the river and into the forest.  This lasts about 1 hour. Then return by oxcart to the elephant village followed by lunch.  After lunch, enjoy a bamboo rafting adventure along the river, for around 45 minutes. Then, onwards to an orchid farm, where there are many beautiful species of orchid.

DAY 8: CHIANG MAI - CHIANG RAI (Meals: B) – JOIN TOUR
A chance to visit the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar and Laos meet!  (About 3 hours driving from Chiang Mai)

An early morning drive through beautiful scenery, with a stop at the Hot Springs at Mekajan, culminates in the chance to explore this world famous spot, notorious for its still prevalent opium trade!  From a viewpoint set high on the hillside, there are magnificent views over the Mekong to the physical triangle made by Myanmar, Laos and Thailand at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers.  Lunch is served at a local restaurant before starting the return journey, during visits are made at Akha and Yao hill tribe villages.

DAY 9: CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK (BY FLIGHT) (Meals: B)
There is time free at leisure in Chieng Mai before transfer to airport for flight to Bangkok. O/N in Bangkok

DAY 10: BANGKOK – YANGON (Meals: B)
Transfer to Bangkok for flight to Yangon, on arrival meet and greet by Journeys representative and transfer to your hotel.  Yangon has been the capital of Myanmar since the British transformed it into their administrative centre of future India. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating capitals of South East Asia. Upon a brief fresh up commence Yangon city tour.

Highlight; Karaweik royal barge, Chaukhtatgyi colossal reclining Buddha Image, Botataung Pagoda said to have enshrinement of Buddha hair relic. Visit down town Yangon with its faded colonial atmosphere such as central post office, historic Strand hotel, custom house and high court to observe the colonial heritage in Yangon, Bogyoke market a famous shopping center to enjoy display of Myanmar souvenir and handicrafts. Stroll around bank of Yangon River to observe hustle and bustle local daily life and perhaps a visit to China town. Evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda, claimed to be the world richest golden stupa of two thousand five hundred years old. The golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold along with numeric precious stones such as jade, ruby, sapphire and diamond including a 76 carat solid diamond on its top. Overnight in Yangon.

DAY 11: YANGON – HEHO – PINDAYA – INLE LAKE (Meals: B)
Morning transfer to airport for your Heho bound flight . Upon arrival meet and greet by Journeys representative and proceed to unique Pindaya cave <64 km, approx 1½ hour> through the road winds over the rolling hills of the Shan plateau through colorful mustard and whet field. Pindaya known, to the world as the home of the countless Buddha Images in its extensive lime stone caves and picturesque lake. Explore around wonder of the mystery cave and Shan traditional paper umbrella making process. Proceed to Inle Lake through a scenic drive to Myanmar best known sight of Inle Lake <91 km, approx 2 hour>. The lake shores and floating villages are mostly inhabited by the Intha people, a tribe of Mon descent. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Inle Lake.

DAY 12: INLE LAKE (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel and board on a traditional long and tall motorized boat for a sightseeing tour of the lake. Traveling on the lake is an exhilarating experience for nature lovers and a chance to observe the unique traditions of the Intha people. Wonder unique leg rowing fishermen, floating firms , houses and monasteries on the stilt ect. Visit floating village of Ywama, the lake's downtown, 11 century Phaungdaw Oo pagoda housing five sacred Buddha Images, the weaving village of Inpawkhon, famous for traditional silk-weaving, Se Gaung Village, famous for the blacksmith work and Nan Pan Village with cheroot making and boat-building dockyards etc and end your day with a visit famous Ngaphechaung, a museum like monastery where old belongings of many monasteries are restored. Overnight in Inle Lake.

DAY 13: INLE LAKE (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel and enjoy a local 5 days market which happens to be held on this day. Then continue visit Taung To Village with ancient pagodas and stupas on the hill. Continue visit Kyauk Taing Village, famous for pottery and stoves making, then visit around the nearby villages. Overnight in Inle Lake.

DAY 14: INLE – HEHO – MANDALAY (Meals: B)
Drive to Heho for your Mandalay bound flight . Mandalay, the last kingdom as well as the center of the Myanma cultural, tradition, arts and crafts has long been known as a centre of skilled craftsmanship and in former times supplied the royal courts. A four of traditional workshops includes crafts such as woodcarving, marble masonry, Kalaga tapestry and gold leaf making etc. Upon arrival at Mandalay airport meet and greet by Journeys representative and drive to ancient capital of Amarapura "meaning city of immortality". Visit Mahagandayon Monastery, home to several thousand of Buddhist navies and monks. Enjoy fantastic sunset view from the 200 year old U Bein teak bridge span across Thaung Tha Man Lake at the time when Amarapura was Royal capital. Photo taking through the water from the lake to old U Bein Bride is picturesque. Continue drive to Mandalay and hotel check in. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 15: MINGUN, MANDALAY, SAGAING (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel and visit Phayagyi to observe the most revered Mahamuni Image brought by Kind Bodawpaya in 1784 from Rakhine. The 4 meter seated Image was believed to have been casted in 1st century AD but over the year of offering gold leaf offering the figure is 15 meter thicket by gold. There is daily Mahamuni face washing ceremony held 4 am every day and is a good opportunity to experience it. Then depart for Mayan Chan jetty often busy with buffaloes logging on the Myanma superlative teak and people working with the Bamboo rafting etc. Board on a local fishermen boat for Mingun across Ayeyarwady river <11 km, approx 1 hour> across Ayeyarwady River. Observe the world's largest ringing bell casted by Bodawpaya in 1080 weighing 55555 viss which calculated equal to 90 tons and Mingun Pahtodawgyi, an enormous pile of bricks is all that remain of King Bodawpaya ambition to make it the world's largest Buddhist stupa. Other tour highlights are Settawya Pagoda with a marble foot print of Buddha and Shin Byu Me Pagoda built in 19 century by King Bagyidaw, Bodawpaya's grandson in memory of one of his wives. Return to Mandalay and visit traditional handicraft making process such as wood carving, tapestry weaving, gold leaf hammering etc. Late afternoon visit foot of Mandalay hill to observe "the largest book" at Kuthodaw Pagoda where entire Buddhist canon have been recorded on stone tablets totaling 729 in number. Shwenandaw "Golden Palace Monastery" , to observe finest Myanmar wooden architecture and Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a large Buddha Image carved out of single block of marble. You may either walk up stairs or drive up to Mandalay hill for a fantastic over view of the entire plain.  Proceed to Sagaing, covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Myanmar and is home of 6000 monks and nun, 100 meditation centers. On your way visit traditional bronze casting, silver smith works which Sagaing is famous for. Sagaing become the capital of independence of Shan around 1315 after fall of Bagan. Visit Tilawkaguru cave temple filled with impressive mural painting date back from 1672, Umin Thounzeh cave temple with multitude of seated Buddha statues and Kaungmudaw Paya, further west towards Monywar is enormous white dome rise 64 meter. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY 16: MANDALAY – BAGAN (Meals: B)
In the morning transfer to jetty for taking public ferry to Bagan, where one can see the scenic river life along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Bagan, lies in the dry plain of central Myanmar by the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, is one of the most remarkable archaeological sites in Asia. Upon arrival meet and greet by Journeys representative and transfer to your hotel.  Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 17: BAGAN (Meals: B)
After breakfast at hotel, starts exploring Bagan archaeological zone. Bagan, founded as early as in 849 on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River was the capital of today Myanmar. The 11th Century archaeological site is considered one of the richest and most amazing site in Asia, comparable to the sites of worldwide importance such as Jerusalem, and Rome however Bagan remain virtually un-known. This once splendid and glorious capital of the First Myanmar Empire is now a 42 square km area dotted with thousands of ancient pagodas, stupas, shrines, ordination halls and monuments.

Highlights: attractive Nyaung Oo market; the SHWEZIGON derives its name from Jeyyabhumi 'Golden Victory' with its magnificent golden stupa; HTILOMINLO Temple, a massive structure of 150 ft height where frescoes representing 28 Buddha of the future; THABYINNYU Temple , the highest monument of universal science; and finally ANANDAR Temple , the best preserved masterpieces of Mon architecture; and near by brick monastery, one of the few survived from Bagan period.

In the afternoon visit one of the lacquer ware workshop to observe process of traditional Myanmar souvenir; then to GAWDAWPALIN one of the largest and most imposing Monument in Bagan. Enjoy sunset from one of the ancient monuments. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY 18: BAGAN – YANGON – BANGKOK (Meals: B)
Further explore this amazing area. You may rent a bike or horse drawn cart to explore some of the new sites you have never been or the site that you have already been and wish re visit etc.  Afternoon transfer to airport for a connecting flight to Bangkok

DAY 19: BANGKOK -  PHNOM PENH (Meals: B)
On arrival Phnom Penh group will be met and transfer to hotel for check in (Depend on arrival time of group, normal check in time 14:00) Sight seeing in Phnom Penh: Victory Monument, National Museum, Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town, and Silver Pagoda, which located within the Royal Palace ground.

End of the day group will stop over at Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake and enjoy views over the tree lined avenues of the city during sunset. O/N in Phnom Penh

DAY 20: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (Meals:B)
After breakfast at hotel this morning we will transfer to quay for speed boat to Siem Reap. On arrival Siem Reap airport group will be met and transfer to hotel for check in (Depend on arrival time of group, normal check in time 14:00). First day arrival Siem Reap with the impression of Angkor temples we will visit ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. O/N in Siem Reap

DAY 21: SIEM REAP (Meals: B)
This morning we continue to explore Angkor plain: Angkor Wat, temple complex cover 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its  distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond

Afternoon visit: Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang ("The Royal Boths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple" of Pre Rup until sunset. DAY 22: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREI (Meals: B)
Morning, drive to Kbal Spean. Walk 45 minutes through the forest to the top of the hill to reach Kbal Spean, the "Thousand Linga River." Discover the 10th-12th century sculptures chiseled into the rocky riverbed, the Royal Bath and the waterfall. Continue to the enchanting temple of the Banteay Srei, nearly everyone's favorite site. The special charm of this temple lies in its compact size, remarkable state of preservation, and the excellence of it decorative carvings

In the afternoon, visit Banteay Samre, one of the most complete complexes at Angkor due to the "anastylosis" restoration method being used. The name Samre refers to an ethnic group of mountain people that inhabited the region at the base of Phnom Kulen and were probably related to the Khmers. No inscriptions have been found at this temple, but the style of most of the architecture is of the classic art of the middle period, similar to Angkor Wat. The proportions of Banteay Samre are splendid. A unique feature is an interior moat with laterite paving, which when filled with water must have given an ethereal atmosphere to the temple. DAY 23: SIEM REAP - SAIGON (Meals: B)
Before leaving Siem Reap our group will visit a floating village of the Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. A short flight connecting to Saigon, arrival at airport meet up and transfer to hotel. O/N in Saigon

DAY 24: SAIGON – TAY NINH TEMPLE – CU CHI TUNNELS (Meals: B)
The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh, this religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. O/N in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 25: HO CHI MINH - VINH LONG - CAN THO (Meals: B/L)
Heading out of town we travel by road to Caibe. Arriving Cai Be we embark on a boat for a boat to explore daily life of local people on Mekong river. Along the way we also visit the many fascinating local cottages industries including rice paper makers, sweet factory, bonsai nurseries. Enjoin local lunch at an orchard and tasting fresh fruits. After boat trip we continue journey with our vehicle to Can Tho. O/N in Can Tho.

DAY 26: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH (Meals: B)
Can Tho is a city located by side of Mekong river where are thousand of boat vendors and as well as retails from different direction of Mekong gathering hear every morning for floating market name Cai Rang. We will have chance to view an amazing activities of local people buy and sell fruits, veger and more…. by handling those products over the tip top of the traditional boat. After breakfast at hotel our group return to Ho Chi Minh city. O/N in Ho Chi Minh

DAY 27: HO CHI MINH - DANANG – HOIAN (Meals: B)
Today we spend a half-day seeing some major sights of the city. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before we visit the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975, and some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office. After seeing the Jade Emperor Pagoda and the War Remnant Museum, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale! Then board for a short flight to Da Nang. On arrival you are greeted and driven to Hoian, which was originally a Cham seaport but has been influenced down centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. O/N in Hoian

DAY 28: HOIAN (Meals: B)
The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional characters with Chinese and Japanese influence. There are plenty to see in this delightful and tranquil town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, the Pottery Museum, the 200 years old Tan Ky House, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the vibrant market. We visit these on our morning walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past.  O/N in Hoian

Day 29: HOIAN – HUE (Meals: B)
Upon leaving Hoian, we drive north to Hue. On the way to Hue, we make stopover at the sensational Marble Mountains, the China Beach and Da Nang City for a visit to the Cham Museum. We then follow the road crossing over the scenic Hai Van Pass before arriving in Hue Vietnam's last imperial capital of Vietnam. O/N in Hue.

DAY 30: HUE (Meals: B)
After breakfast we embark on a boat for cruise up stream on the Perfume River which will give us a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. Upon leaving this symbol of Hue we continue navigating to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. The next stop of our trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous pagoda of Tu Hieu. On return to the city, we then take a walk to the bustling Dong Ba Market and pass many fantastic eating spots where visitors have a chance to sample some local delicacies. O/N in Hue.

DAY 31: HUE – HANOI – HALONG (Meals: B)
The massive citadel of Hue is not to be missed this morning. The Royal Residence, Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins. The rest of your time will be free for your own exploration of the town before boarding a short flight to north. Arriving at Noibai Airport we be greeted and driven to Halong bay, truly one of Vietnam’s most scenic impressive sights. O/N in Halong.

DAY 32: HALONG – HANOI (Meals: B/L)
Upon leaving the town we take a five hour cruise around Halong bay, which provides a great opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. A long the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Hanoi, stopping en route at Dong Trieu pottery village. O/N in Hanoi.

DAY 33: HANOI CITY TOUR (Meals: B)
Today we enjoy a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. This complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of city. We follow this with a trip to the Temple of Literature, which is well known as the first university of Vietnam and the impressive Ethnologic Museum, dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups. The beautiful West Lake and the History Museum with an excellent collection of artifacts illustrating the Vietnamese history are not to be missed. We visit these sights before continuing to the peaceful lake of Hoan Kiem. In front of this lake is the famous water puppet theatre where we will see a fantastic performance. O/N in Hanoi.

DAY 34: HANOI – LUANG PRABANG (Meals: B)
There is a free time to relax or further explore Hanoi before transfer to airport for Luang Prabang. On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. After a short rest, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham andWat Mai; we then climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as capture a beautiful view of the city and the watch the setting sun as it is reflected on the Mekong River. From there, we visit the Night Market, where you can browse a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by the local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

DAY 35: LUANG PRABANG – PAK OU CAVE – KHOUANGSI WATERFALL (Meals: B)
An optional early start gives you the fantastic opportunity to participate in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alms (often in the form of sticky rice) from the faithful residents. This tradition is very unique in Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the ritual. You can also visit the morning Phosi Market where you canl see such diverse offerings as dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, vegetables and hill-tribe weavings.

AM:  After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a panaromic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the small village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is distilled. We return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon, on the way we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village well known for its hand weaving.

PM: After lunch we continue towards Khouangsi Waterfall, en route, we visit the local villages of Lao ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Ban Ou, Laoloum and Ban Thapene, then drive to the beautiful Khouangsi Waterfall.   Here you can take a dip in the inviting pools or walk along the forest trails  surrounding the waterfall.  We return to Luang Prabang by late afternoon and continue to Ban Xangkhong, a village well known for silk handweaving and for traditional Saa Paper making. We return to the city by late evening to watch the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

DAY 36: LUANG PRABANG – XIENGKHOUANG (Meals: B)
After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel and begin our days drive through beautiful mountain scenery to Xiengkhouang, a province of Laos famous for its ‘Plain of Jars’.   There will be plenty of opportunities to stop off and visit the numerous villages along the way.  On arrival we check in to the hotel, the evening is free at your leisure. Overnight in Xiengkhoung.

DAY 37: XIENGKHOUANG – VIENTIANE (Flight) (Meals: B)
Following breakfast at Hotel, we transfer out to visit the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site encompassing hundreds of large stone jars scattered throughout the plateau. In the afternoon there will be time to see the old capital of Muang Khoun Province and its' nearby villages which are home to the Hmong hill tribe and Tai Dam people who possess an interesting local culture and a vibrant history. We then board our short flight to Vientiane. On arrival we check in to the hotel. After short rest, we will visit the Morning Market and the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 38: VIENTIANE – CITY TOUR (Meals: B)
Today, we see the major sights of the capital; including the oldest Wat Sisaket, the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to Lao’s national icon,  the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop enroute to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph The Mekong river side is the perfect place to end the day and admire the sunset. Overnight in Vientiane.

In the afternoon we transfer out to see Buddha Park, an enchanting collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures on the Mekong Riverside meadow, close to the Friendship Bridge. There are approximately 200 religious images dating back over 500 years, which were created by a mysterious monk spreading his philosophy on life and revealing his ideas about the universe. A spectacular view of over the Mekong River at sunset is a perfect way to finish the day. Overnight in Vientiane.

DAY 39: VIENTIANE – BANGKOK (B)
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for s short flight to Bangkok. O/N in Bangkok

DAY 40: BANGKOK DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast transfer to Bangkok airport for departure. Trip ends when group arrive airport
