Stop Over Vientiane, Laos Tour

Day 1: Arrival – Vientiane
On arrival in Vientiane transfer to your hotel, in the afternoon take a short city tour, starting with the thousands of miniature Buddha’s at Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple in the city and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo which used to house the Emerald Buddha, now in Bangkok, Thailand. We’ll then take a short ride across the city to see the National symbol of Laos which is the ‘That Luang Stupa ‘and stop at the imposing Patuxay Monument Laos Arch de Triumph a reminder of the French Colonial period.

Day 2: Vientiane – Nam Ngum Lake (Breakfast at hotel)
Take a visit to the morning market in Vientiane to pick up a souvenir or just browse, before departing to the Nam Ngum Lake. Take a boat trip on the lake and have a picnic lunch there is also the option of fishing on the Lake or trying one of the other optional activities on offer from the Dang Savananh Resort.

Day 3: Vientiane – Departure (Breakfast at hotel)
Transfer from Nam Ngum to Vientiane international airport for your onward destination
