Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh on your own, check in hotel
At 18:00 today group will have a briefing with tour leader and group dinner on your own expenses.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh 1/2 day city tour end before 12:00 (Breakfast at hotel)
08:30am: our tour guide pick you up from your hotel and start a 1/2 day tour in Ho Chi Minh city, beginning with the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until the end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post Office. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong delta - Ho Chi Minh (Breakfast at hotel, lunch at local restaurant)
On day 3 of your Vietnam holiday you'll head out of the city for the Mekong Delta. You'll travel by road to My Tho province about 1:30 drive, arriving in My Tho, where you board a boat navigating around the small canals in the Mekong Delta, and you'll have the chance to observe the local lifestyles close-up. Pass through the lush green vegetation to an orchard you can observe various fascinating local industries. After feasting on a huge lunch followed with Elephant ear fish, seasonal fruits, return to Ho Chi Minh for overnight.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – Danang – Hoian (Breakfast at hotel)
This morning, we will take flight to Da Nang where you'll be greeted and driven to Hoian, originally a Cham seaport but influenced down centuries by a myriad of traders from various cultures. The ancient architecture of Hoian is a fascinating combination of Vietnamese traditional buildings with Chinese and Japanese influence. There’s plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, Pottery Museum, 200 year old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda and vibrant market. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town's multi-cultural past. A local restaurant for your own lunch would be an experience of the Vietnam holiday. Overnight in Hoian.
Day 5: Hoian – Hue (Breakfast at hotel)
In the morning transfer to Hue via Hai Van pass and and Lang co beach before reaching to beautiful quiet city is widely known for its magnificent historic architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in many small villages and the surrounding hills. In the afternoon we continue to the massive citadel of Hue containing the Royal Residence, Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City which was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive. However it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins and to imagine what it was once like
Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue – Hanoi (Breakfast at hotel) - Train depart from Hue at 14:45 or 17:06
Your vacation continues on with a full exploration of Hue starting with a boat cruise upstream on the Perfume River which will give you a taste of the scenic countryside as well as an enjoyable visit to the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. You continue on to the Emperor Minh Mang’s mausoleum, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes. The next stop of your trip is the elaborate royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc and the famous Tu Hieu pagoda. Later, we will transfer to railway station for overnight train to Hanoi. Overnight in the train to Hanoi (cabin of 4 person with air conditioning).
Day 7: Hanoi – Halong - Hanoi (Breakfast with PHO traditional, lunch on board)
You’ll be met at the Railway Station early this morning and you'll have the chance to see early morning life in Hanoi as the locals do their morning exercises and Tai Chi. You'll also get to see the unique flower market before heading for Vietnam’s number one destination - Halong bay. Arriving Halong, you will embark a junk departure at 12:00 for a magical four-hour cruise around Ha Long Bay, made world famous by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies. You'll have the opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery and some 3,000 limestone islands rising vertically from the emerald water. The extraordinary limestone kart formations are full of hidden beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way you'll anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath the cliffs. Seafood lunch served on boat. In the late afternoon, we will return to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 8: Hanoi – 1/2 day city tour - trip end before 12:00 (Breakfast at hotel)
Day 8 of your Vietnam discovery starts with breakfast at hotel, followed by a full day city tour starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi a thousand years ago. Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 9: Hanoi – Departure (Breakfast at hotel)

We departure from hotel about 08:00 for Halong bay which made world famous by James Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies movie, you'll have the opportunity to explore the picturesque scenery and some 3,000 limestone islands rising vertically from the emerald water. The extraordinary limestone kart formations are full of hidden beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way you'll anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath the cliffs. Return to Hanoi for overnight.
Day 3: Hanoi – 1/2 day city tour – Hue by train depart from Hanoi at 19:00 or 23:00
08:30am: our tour guide pick you up from your hotel to enjoy with a full day city tour in Hanoi, starting with the Ho Chi Minh Complex, containing the mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. Close to this site is the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origin dates back to the foundation of Hanoi a thousand years ago. Your tour of Hanoi continues with a trip to the remarkable Temple of Literature, well known as Vietnam’s first university. In the later afternoon you'll enjoy fantastic performance of water puppet show before transfer to take overnight train to Hue. Overnight in the train to Hue.
Day 4: Hue (Breakfast at local restaurant) – Train arrive Hue around 10:45
The train arrive Hue in the morning. This small and quiet city is widely known for its magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in many small villages and surrounding hills. You'll spend this afternoon visiting Hue with the massive citadel, containing the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City. This Royal Residence was destroyed during the 1968 Tet Offensive, however it is still fascinating to walk among the ruins of the Vietnam history timeline. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Hoian (Breakfast at hotel)
