
DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI (Meals: None)
On arrival Noi Bai airport group will be met and transfer to hotel. O/N in Hanoi
DAY 2: HANOI – LAO CAI (NIGHT TRAIN) (Meal: B)
Full day sight seeing in Hanoi contained the Mausoleum of the nation’s founder Ho Chi Minh, Presidential Palace and the Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts. The complex also comprises the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to the foundation of Hanoi. The next stop of our trip is the impressive Ethnologic Museum dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minorities. We also visit the Temple of Literature and the peaceful Hoan Kiem lake with its sacred temple. Evening we will transfer to train station for overnight train to Lao Cai. O/N on board
DAY 3: LAO CAI – BACHA - SAPA (Meals: B) - SUNDAY
On arrival Lao Cai meet our driver for up hill to the colorful Sunday Market at Bac Ha. This market also attracts a wide variety of ethnic minority groups including the Variegated H’mong, Dao, Phu La, La Chi and Tay. They still retain their old age cultural traditions and are recognizably distinct from each other by their dress. The experience of this congregation is colorful and unique. After the market we enjoy a walk around the area, visiting the H’mong King’s former residence and Ban Pho where the villagers make the potent local maize alcohol then continuing to Sapa town. DAY 4: SAPA – LAO CAI (Meals: B)
The range of Phan Si Pan boasts Vietnam’s highest mountain and lends an alpine feel to the area surrounding this hill station. Today we have enough time to visit the bustling Sa Pa Market where the Red Dao, Black Hmong, Tay and Xa Pho ethnic minorities converge from the nearby mountainsides and valleys to trade their goods and buy provisions. We then get well off the beaten track to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages where are home of H’Mong and Dzay enthnic people. Late afternoon we transfer to train station for overnight train return Hanoi. O/N on board
DAY 5: HANOI (Meals: B)
Our arrival Hanoi early morning about 05:00 am (By the time most of city young people still in bed), we visit a usually exercise of local people Tai chi practice and a busy flower market before breakfast. There is some time to relax after an overnight train from Sapa. This afternoon we will join 1 hour cyclo ride and enjoin famous of water puppet show in Hanoi. O/N in Hanoi
DAY 6: HANOI – HALONG (Meals: B/L)
Breakfast at hotel this morning then we process to Halong bay, truly one of the World Heritage. On arrival Halong we will embark for four hours cruise to fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water visiting Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave. O/N in Halong
DAY 7: HALONG – HO CHI MINH (Meals: B)
An early morning transfer to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh. The sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City begins with Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the Southern Vietnam President until end of April 1975. Close to the palace are some striking French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Saigon Post office, we also visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, War Remnant Museum before continuing to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where handy craft, lacquer ware and more on sales!. O/N in Ho Chi Minh
DAY 8: HO CHI MINH – TAYNINH – CUCHI TUNNELS (Meals: B)
The head quarter of Cao Dai sect is located in Tay Ninh, this religion was founded in 1923 and now numbers over 2 million members. After breakfast we travel by roads to Tay Ninh to see the ornate temple of Cao Dai attend the fantastic mid-day service when the followers fill the hall wearing colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of the Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterwards we continue to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. The tunnels contained hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used as a military base for the Viet Cong in the American war. O/N in Ho Chi Minh
DAY 9: SAIGON – VING LONG - CAN THO (Meals: B/L)
Heading out of town we travel by road to Caibe, on arrival we embark on a boat for a boat to explore daily life of local people on Mekong river. Along the way we also visit the many fascinating local cottages industries including rice paper makers, sweet factory, bonsai nurseries, enjoin local lunch at an orchard and tasting fresh fruits our boat trip fish in Ving Long. After boat trip we continue journey with our vehicle to Can Tho. O/N in Can Tho
DAY 10: CAN THO – HO CHI MINH – PHNOM PENH (Meals: B)
After breakfast this morning we embark for a boat trip on Cai Rang market a busy morning floating market where are hundreds of local boats with their own products for sales as season fruits or vegetables before return to Ho Chi Minh for flight to Phnom Penh. On arrival Phnom Penh group will be met and transfer to hotel for check in (Depend on arrival time of group, normal check in time 14:00) Sight seeing in Phnom Penh: Victory Monument, National Museum, Royal Palace, built by the French in 1866 on the site of the old town, and Silver Pagoda, which located within the Royal Palace ground.
End of the day group will stop over at Wat Phnom Temple, Phnom Penh's namesake and enjoy views over the tree lined avenues of the city during sunset. O/N in Phnom Penh
DAY 11: PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP (Meals: B)
This morning we board for a speed boat on Mekong river to Siem Reap. On arrival Siem Reap airport group will be met and transfer to hotel for check in (Depend on arrival time of group, normal check in time 14:00). First day arrival Siem Reap with the impression of Angkor temples we will visit ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century), South Gate (with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk), Bayon Temple (unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara), the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. O/N in Siem Reap
DAY 12: SIEM REAP (Meals: B)
This morning we continue to explore Angkor plain: Angkor Wat, temple complex cover 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat's five tower symbolize Meru's five peaks, the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world and the surrounding moat symbolizes the ocean beyond
Afternoon visit: Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery, Prasat Kravan (with its unique brick sculptures), Srah Srang ("The Royal Boths" was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by four concentric walls), Eastern Mebon (guarded at its corner by stone figures of harnessed elephants, some of which are still in a reasonable state of preservation) and the "Mountain Temple" of Pre Rup until sunset. DAY 13: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (Meals: B)
Before leaving Siem Reap our group will visit a floating village of the Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia and the largest in Asia. Trip ends after transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure.
