Day 1: Shanghai
Your local guide will pick you up at the airport upon your arrival in Shanghai and take you to your hotel. Day 2: Shanghai (B/L) In the morning, visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of the main touristic highlights in Shanghai and one of Shanghai’s few active Buddhist monasteries still remaining. Then, tour the Yuyuan Garden, a classical, peaceful and comfortable garden in the heart of bustling Shanghai. In the afternoon, tour to People’s Square and the Shanghai Museum. In the evening, visit Xintiandi, a complex that combines history, culture, tourism, food and beverage, business, entertainment and residences. Day 3: Shanghai-Suzhou-Shanghai Enjoy a full-day excursion to Suzhou, known as “The Venice of the East" but especially famous for its silk industry. There, you will visit the Garden of the Master of the Fishnet (Wangshiyuan) (World Heritage Site listed by UNESCO), then the Tiger Hill and finally stroll in Guanjianjie street. In the evening, transfer back to Shanghai. Day 4: Shanghai (B) Transfer to the airport for your departure. | |||
