Xieng Khouang is a province in Northwestern Laos, with the capital city of Phonsavan. The area is surrounded by mountains and an open terrain that is home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Field of Jars, which is an extraordinary field of ancient stone jars scattered across a large area.
