Pakse Overview

Pakse is the capital city of the Champasak province in southern Laos. French colonial remnants remain in the city and even though the city is located close the the Mekong River, Mekong lifestyle is not clearly present. There are many temples to visit, nature to behold and ethnic groups that differ in culture and language in the area. The Bolaven plateau is close by which is a popular area filled with adventurous activities.
