Cao Dai Temple - Tay Ninh Overview

Tay Ninh is the capital city in the province of the same name in Southwest Vietnam. Surrounding this town are mostly farmlands and in the distance you can see Nui Ba Den Mountain that people often visit for the temple. Tay Ninh is approximately 90 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.

The city is famous for being the birthplace of the Cao Dai religion, an indigenous faith of the Vietnamese that has a combination of teachings from Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism which is shown on their banner depicting three different colors for each of these three religions.

Part of the religion is The Divine Eye that reminds the followers of Caodaism that the God witnesses their every move. At the center of Tay Ninh the Holy See or Cao Dai Temple stands, a majestic architecture that, similar to the religion, has influences from world religions and is one of the main tourist attractions of Southern Vietnam.
